Planning services for the redevelopment of seven typical at-grade intersections into roundabouts on National Road 2 Thessaloniki – Edessa (km 12+000 to 43+600): The aim is to improve the functionality of the intersections, increase road safety, traffic capacity, and the service level of the road section under study. All interventions must be implemented within the expropriation zone of the existing infrastructure. The affected intersections are Sindo (km 12+020), Anchialos (km 15+050), Gefyra (km 23+700), Chalkidona (km 32+400), Koufalia (km 33+370), the entrance to the Paralimni bypass (km 34+470), and Paralimni (km 43+600).
