Demolition and Asbestos Removal for Above-Ground Hospital Wing
Complete demolition of a hospital wing up to 80 cm above ground level, with this section serving as a parapet for the basement. Inner walls perpendicular to the outer walls are demolished at a 45° angle to act as buttresses. Exterior joinery, with the exception of the sectional door, is removed. All window and door openings are filled with concrete. An unreinforced concrete beam is cast in situ on top of the demolished masonry to provide waterproofing against rainwater. The basement floor and part of the inner walls are retained for stability. The part of the building attached to the tower/keep, where the meters are located, is demolished down to the basement cover and waterproofed.
