Waste Management Services for Erzgebirgskreis

Collection and transport of waste: residual waste (MGB 80, 120, 240, and 1,100 liters; 70 l bags; approx. 14,475 Mg/a), organic waste (MGB 80 and 120 liters; approx. 1,982 Mg/a), cardboard and paper (MGB 120, 240, and 1,100 liters; approx. 5,091 Mg/a total), approx. 16 Mg/a Christmas trees, and bulky waste (approx. 900 Mg/a) via a household-related collection system for the entire East waste management area of Erzgebirgskreis. Residual waste collection occurs on a 14-day cycle. Organic waste is collected weekly from April to November and bi-weekly from December to March. Paper collection is on a 4-week cycle. Container modification service and washing of organic waste containers are included. Bulky waste collection is via a collection system by appointment (order cards). Upon request for container disposal, waste containers (7 m³) must be provided and collected. Collected waste must be handed over to ZAS at transfer points. Operation of recycling centers in the East waste management area of Erzgebirgskreis, including the acceptance of waste from private households and other sources via a bring system.
