Updating the Kemijokivarren General Plan for the Loue - Mattinen sub-area: The land use situation has changed; a wind farm built in the early 2010s partially borders the sub-area to be updated. A legally binding partial general plan for the wind farm exists and must be integrated into the updated plan. The aim is to ensure equitable building rights for properties based on the 'kantatila' principle. The targeted approval schedule is by the end of 2028. The plan aims to increase permanent housing and leisure building sites throughout the entire planning area, considering economic opportunities, and to create a flexible plan that allows for permanent or leisure housing on the same plots over the largest possible area.
