Development of a common federated Identity and Access Management infrastructure for Hamburg universities

Conception, development, and operational transfer of a common federated Identity and Access Management infrastructure for the 6 Hamburg universities. Each university will receive a local IAM system, which will be integrated into the common state infrastructure. A central directory for storing personal attributes will be established. Implementation will utilize modern standards such as SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SCIM, and FIDO2. The nationwide federation service DFN-AAI, including eduID, will serve as the basis, with the state federation designed as a sub-federation within DFN-AAI.
