Installation and Removal of Snow Fences for the Regional Road Authority in Parczew

Services for the installation and removal of snow fences: The fences must be installed and dismantled exclusively in areas prone to snowdrifts along provincial roads. The contracting authority provides plastic snow fences and wooden stakes. The contractor must provide steel wire (Ø 2.0 mm), anchors/nails, and string/wire for fastening the mesh and stakes. The distance of the fences from the road edge must be 15 to 20 m, with a gap of 20 to 30 cm above the ground. No snow-retaining objects are permitted between the fence and the road crown. Fences must consist of a sequence of spans and gaps according to the technical specification. Removal includes dismantling all elements (guy wires, anchors, mesh, wire/string, stakes), sorting the dismantled material, rolling up mesh and string, removing damaged material, repairing damaged elements (e.g., removing used staple nails), transporting authority-owned materials to the road district storage yards (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM), storing materials according to the technical specification, and clearing the site. The contractor is responsible for compliance with environmental regulations and for damages to underground infrastructure. Further items as per the tender documents.
