Expansion of Karpacka Street and Reconstruction of Astronautów Street in Łódź

Construction works for the expansion of Karpacka Street and the reconstruction of Astronautów Street in Łódź: The project includes two main tasks. Task 1 involves the expansion of Karpacka Street from Pabianicka Street to Paderewskiego Street, divided into two stages. Stage 1 (Karpacka Street from Pabianicka Street to Zaolziańska Street, excluding the intersection) must be completed by the end of 2026. Stage 2 (Karpacka Street from Zaolziańska Street to Paderewskiego Street) can commence after Stage 1 completion. The scope for Task 1 includes demolition and earthworks, road expansion with reconstruction of carriageways, sidewalks, parking spaces, and driveways, construction of a pedestrian-bicycle path, reconstruction of lighting installations, drainage, construction of a technological channel installation, and the removal of water and energy utility conflicts. Task 2 concerns the reconstruction of Astronautów Street from Zaolziańska Street to Karpacka Street, also to be completed by the end of 2026 and carried out parallel to Stage 1 of Task 1. The scope for Task 2 includes demolition and earthworks, road expansion with reconstruction of carriageways, sidewalks, parking spaces, curbs, reconstruction of driveways and drainage, height adjustment of fittings, network protection, horizontal and vertical marking, construction of small architectural elements, and the planting of trees and shrubs. The works must be coordinated with gas works on Karpacka Street (Pabianicka Street to Zaolziańska Street) commissioned by PSG, scheduled from 01.10.2026 to 31.12.2027.
