Expansion of the Algyő Main Canal for Stormwater Drainage of the BYD Car Factory, Phase 4

Expansion of the Algyő Main Canal for stormwater drainage from the BYD car factory area, including: Dredging of the Algyő Main Canal in sections 0+000 – 2+200 km and 10+297 – 11+020 km, divided into four sections, with Section II (0+598 – 0+990 km) involving 63,750 m³ hydromechanical and 38,500 m³ bank dredging, and Section IV (10+293 – 11+020 km) involving 3,000 m³ bank dredging; dredging to authorized bottom levels with a minimum width of 6 m, using two-sided dry (from bank) underwater dredging and slope arrangement up to 10-12 m reach, supplemented by hydromechanical dredging of the remaining riverbed with a width of 10-12 m to 60-65 m. Embankment construction with reconstruction of water-side and protected-side embankments in channel-kilometer sections 0+000 – 2+200 (4,000 linear meters) and 10+293 – 11+020 (1,454 linear meters), featuring an embankment crown width of 5.00 m and slope inclinations of 1:2. Reconstruction of structures on the Algyő Main Canal, affecting structures at channel-kilometer 1+178 and 10+409. Demolition of structures: steel pipe at channel-kilometer 1+436, left bank sluice at 10+359, Farkasi sluice at 5+412, black sluice at 10+293. Construction of new structures: monolithic reinforced concrete structure with sluice gate at channel-kilometer 5+407 with 11 m³/s water flow capacity, reconstruction of the Farkasi pumping station, monolithic reinforced concrete bridge structure type 9T with sluice gate at channel-kilometer 10+292, planned sluice at channel-kilometer 10+359. Monitoring facilities: structure at channel-kilometer 5+412 (water level measurement), structure at channel-kilometer 10+293 (IV. pond unit monitoring), water level measurement at channel-kilometer 10+293. Dredging of the IV. fish pond: approximately 25,000 m³ of sludge by hydromechanical dredging, with disposal in abandoned wintering fish ponds north of Algyő. Planning services: review and finalization of indicative design documents at execution level, and completion of all planning tasks according to client requirements (Volume 3). The provisions of the FIDIC Yellow Book are applicable; the bidder is responsible for the design.
