Planning and execution of a 110-kV substation expansion: extension of the existing system from two to eight double busbar fields in open-air design. This includes the installation of a 110-kV earthing coil, the relocation of a 110/20-kV transformer, the construction of new oil collection sumps, and the creation of a temporary setup to ensure system operation during the construction phase. The 110-kV switchgear will be expanded to a total of eight double busbar fields, comprising two feeder fields for 110-kV overhead lines, two transformer fields, three cable outgoing fields (one serving as reserve, with only foundations initially built), and one cross-coupling. A 110-kV earth fault neutralizer coil in plunger core design will be installed, switchably connected to the neutral point of the transformers. One of the two 110/20-kV transformers (each 40 MVA) will be relocated to a new transformer foundation; two new oil collection sumps will be built for this and for the earth fault neutralizer coil, with Transformer 121 moved to the sump in field =E8. To maintain system operation, the two 110/20-kV transformers will be connected to overhead line gantries via temporary 110-kV construction replacement cables. Secondary cables must be pulled through a newly constructed empty conduit route into the technical room and connected on both sides; low-voltage side transformer cables will be newly laid and existing ones dismantled. Protection and control technology for the 110-kV system will be provided by the client. Estimated execution period: calendar week 06/2027 to 1st quarter 2030. Further items as per the tender documents.
