Planning services for the expansion of the right-Rhine cycle path connection along Federal Highway 42 between Koblenz and the Hessian state border in the Middle Rhine Valley: expansion of the section between the southern access road of Kestert municipality and the beginning of OD Ehrenthal from station 4.349 to 6.768 (NK 5711 031 to 5812 022), corresponding to construction-km 0+14.40 to 2+428.00 or Rhine-km 560.1 to 562.7. The alignment follows the existing Federal Highway 42, the riverbank embankment/retaining wall of the Rhine, and railway line 3507 from Koblenz to Wiesbaden. The cycle path construction also includes a superstructure reinforcement of the B 42 roadway and a renewal of the drainage facilities.
