Water Treatment Technology and Building Automation for Wartbergbad Pforzheim
Water treatment technology and MSR technology for the new construction of the indoor pool and the fundamental renovation of the outdoor pool Wartberg in Pforzheim: Delivery, installation, and commissioning of 11 pool water circuits with a total circulation capacity of approx. 2,000 m³/h, equipped with vacuum filters and chlorine gas systems for disinfection. Included are 2 backwash water treatment plants (Type 1 and Type 3), pool fittings for predominantly tiled indoor pool basins and predominantly stainless steel outdoor pool basins. Both facilities include slides, numerous water attractions, and a spray park. The pool water piping construction takes place in the technical centers of the indoor and outdoor pools, located approx. 150 m apart, as well as underground in the intervening sunbathing lawn. The complete building automation for water treatment and building technology is based on a fast-reacting industrial standard PLC, with communication of 9 ISPs via Profinet protocol, and includes approx. 2,500 data points including field devices. The system-compliant building management system controls the complex technical facilities of the combined bath, with internal and external communication paths to be data-separated for cybersecurity. Maintenance of the entire aforementioned systems is planned for a duration of 4 years.
