Dredging and Transport of Dredged Material and Debris for the Neckar River
Dredging and Transport of Dredged Material and Debris: Removal of deposits in and on the federal waterway Neckar between Neckar-kilometer 4.600 and 201.650, required from January 2027 to December 2028. This includes the removal of recurring wet dredged material deposits in the shipping fairway and potentially in the headwater areas of the weirs, the creation of an emergency fairway, and the removal of debris deposits in the lock and weir areas. This is a continuous measure, repeatable in sections, with a calculated quantity of 105,000 t (52,500 t/a) of wet dredged material and debris. The quantities from emergency fairway dredging and debris removal are billed on an hourly basis.
