Battery storage system for BESS II Harrislee
Construction and operation of a grid-connected stand-alone battery energy storage system (BESS) with an electrical connection capacity of 70 MW and a usable storage capacity of 140 MWh on the operating premises of Stadtwerke Flensburg GmbH. The system will be connected via a medium-voltage transformer to the 60 kV medium-voltage grid and is intended for participation in arbitrage trading and the provision of secondary control power (aFRR). The system will be implemented as a containerized or modular storage solution, comprising battery systems, inverter units, transformer technology, protection and control technology, and necessary auxiliary facilities.
