Construction of a pedestrian and cycle path on a former sand railway line with accompanying infrastructure and street furniture

Construction of a pedestrian and cycle path on the route of a former sand railway: approx. 9.3 km in length, connecting the districts of Kłokocin, Gotartowice (via ul. Żorska), Rybnik Paruszowiec (via ul. Mikołowską) to the cycle path between Wielopole and Kamień in Rybnik. The works include a cycle path (4.0 m wide) and a pedestrian path (1.8 m wide) with an asphalt surface, access roads to other roads and intersecting cycle routes, renovation of 3 bridge structures (steel bridge over the Ruda river, steel bridge over the railway line near Rybnik-Gotartowice station, concrete viaduct in the Paruszowiec-Piaski forest), horizontal and vertical signage, energy-efficient LED lighting along the entire length with reactive power compensator, bicycle racks, e-bike charging stations, repair stations, and rest areas with shelters, skatepark, pumptrack, climbing walls, decorative boulders, recreational loungers, benches, and waste bins.
