Construction of Water Supply and Main Sewer 3 for the New Länsi-Säkylä Business Park

Construction of main water pipes, wastewater sewerage, and pressure sewerage for treated wastewater in the Länsi-Säkylä business park, replacing an existing open ditch and an asbestos-cement pressure sewer. A wastewater pumping station for treated wastewater will be built within the Apetit Oyj factory area to pump treated water from Säkylä municipality and Apetit Oyj treatment plants via pressure sewerage to an existing wastewater pumping station to the north. The existing treated wastewater pumping station will be decommissioned after project completion. The total length of pipelines to be constructed is approximately 3,900 m. Additionally, a new wastewater pumping station for dirty wastewater will be built along Kauniinsannantie to serve the business park. The contract comprises two sub-contracts: Sub-contract 1 includes the new treated wastewater pumping station with all structures up to operational readiness, water supply construction up to the northern connection point of the existing wastewater pumping station, removal, installation, and connection of the backup power system from the old to the new pumping station, and all other water pipe and sewerage system construction in this section. Sub-contract 2 covers all water supply construction from the southeast boundary of Sub-contract 1 to the gravity sewerage manhole at the end of Metsämiehentie. Work must commence by 19.10.2026 at the latest and be fully completed and accepted by 11.6.2027. Milestones include the completion of the pipeline section between Apetit Oyj's wastewater basins and Säkyläntie by 12.11.2026, and the full operational readiness of the new treated wastewater sewerage from Kiviniityntie to the northern connection point of the existing wastewater pumping station by 31.5.2027.
