Construction works for the optimization and electrification of the České Velenice (excl.) – Veselí nad Lužnicí (excl.) railway line – Infrastructure: complete reconstruction and electrification of the České Velenice – Veselí nad Lužnicí section to increase track speed and safety of rail and road transport, and to minimize operating costs of the railway infrastructure administration. This includes the reconstruction of the superstructure (tracks, switches) and substructure, culverts, and bridges, the construction of new platforms 550 mm above top of rail, traction power supply (AC 25kV 50 Hz system), low and high voltage power supply, and new communication (cabling, radio, DŘT) and safety equipment. The overall project is divided into three separate contracts: Infrastructure, Energy, and Safety Equipment; further specifications as per tender documents.
