Construction Work for Buildings H1 and H2 of Olomouc Faculty Hospital

Complex reconstruction building modifications and construction of two new extensions to the existing buildings H1 and H2 on the premises of Olomouc Faculty Hospital: Construction work and extension to the existing six-story building H1 will be carried out on all above-ground floors, with a partial superstructure on the existing roof in connection with the new extension. Inside building H1, bed capacities will be increased and the standard of healthcare improved through new structural and operational solutions. Inpatient units of the Oncology Clinic and the Clinic for Pulmonary Diseases and Tuberculosis (KPNT) will continue to be located there. The extension to the existing five-story building H2 will expand the existing operation of radiation therapy rooms and a CT simulator with magnetic resonance imaging on the 1st floor, managed by the Oncology Clinic. A new inpatient unit for complex supportive care, also for the Oncology Clinic, will be created on the 2nd floor, and a new intensive care unit (JIP) for the Pulmonary Clinic is planned on the 3rd floor. Existing operations for radiation therapy, brachytherapy, and bronchology will be maintained to the maximum extent possible during construction. New changing rooms will be located on the 2nd floor of the existing part of building H2; an X-ray examination room on the 3rd floor; outpatient clinics and a day hospital for KPNT on the 4th floor; and a medical physics workplace (LFRO), pain clinic, and KARIM day hospital on the 5th floor.
