Construction works for the I/55 Břeclav bypass: Elimination of traffic problems caused by the existing Class I road through Břeclav and the I/40 section through Poštorná. The current road sections do not meet the requirements for safe, smooth, and high-capacity transit traffic from the D2 motorway to the Czech-Austrian border. The new route is planned outside the built-up area, mainly on agricultural land, to reduce negative environmental impacts on residential areas.
