Site preparation for the new Cologne correctional facility

Site preparation: comprehensive measures in the East area and partial South area of the expansion site for the new Cologne correctional facility, including clearing the area with root stock removal, excavation of areas down to the natural ground for unexploded ordnance detection, creation of a suitable subgrade for detection, processing of soil mixed with masonry and concrete residues, re-installation and compaction of soil to a specified NN-height, construction of the site access road at Butzweilerstraße with safety measures, establishment of future site setup areas and construction roads. The measures are accompanied by a soil expert provided by the client; the contractor supplies the necessary site equipment. The site preparation takes place outside the security area of the Cologne correctional facility, with conditions for entering and driving on the construction site regulated in the facility's construction and assembly regulations.
