Consultancy Services for EPA Abstraction Licensing
Technical services supporting the abstraction licensing process with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for waterways under Waterways Ireland's statutory remit: preparation of required documentation and data for fourteen abstractions, each greater than 2,000 m³/day, and assessment of two proposed new and reinstated abstraction sources on the Grand Canal. This includes the review and assessment of abstraction sites, data gathering, modelling, and evaluation of potential environmental impacts for each abstraction to ensure compliance with the Water Framework Directive.
