Protective clothing for emergency services of Bensheim fire departments

Delivery of 370 sets of protective clothing (protective jacket and protective trousers) for the fire departments of the city of Bensheim: Multi-functional operational clothing suitable for combined use in technical assistance (THL), vegetation and forest fire fighting, and light fire fighting; protective jacket and trousers must be approved for operational use in combination and be from one manufacturer. For sampling and wear trials, one set of protective clothing (protective jacket and protective trousers) in sizes M, L, and XL must be provided free of charge for 14 days from the submission deadline (November 3, 2026, 10:00 AM). The provided sample sets must fully correspond 1:1 to the required performance characteristics in the specification and the offered product in terms of design, quality, and equipment. Offers must be submitted digitally via the Subreport tendering portal. The corresponding protective suits, which must also be submitted by the submission deadline (November 3, 2026, 10:00 AM), must use the attached address label. Failure to deliver samples will lead to mandatory exclusion of the offer according to § 57 para. 1 no. 2 VgV. Delivery address for sample sets is Stadtverwaltung Bensheim, Kirchbergstraße 18, Zimmer 412, 64625 Bensheim. The bidder bears the costs for shipping and return shipping; a pre-franked return parcel label must be included in the package. Of the total procurement quantity of 370 sets of protective clothing, approximately two-thirds are expected to be in sizes S-XL and the remaining third approximately in sizes XS, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, and 5XL. Actual size quantities can only be ordered after fitting and final measurement by the company. Measurements are expected to take place after contract award on November 27, 28, and 29, 2026 (6 hours each) at the Bensheim-Mitte fire department location, Robert-Bosch-Straße 7-9 in 64625 Bensheim. Product data sheets and size charts must be enclosed with the offer for evaluation of performance criteria. Upon award, delivery of the ordered protective clothing will be made to the Bensheim-Mitte fire department, Robert-Bosch-Straße 7-9 in 64625 Bensheim, curb-side. Delivery date is as soon as possible, but no later than May 2, 2027. The contract will be awarded to the most economically advantageous offer based on price and wearing comfort.
