Operation of public bus lines

Operation of public bus lines in South Buda and South Pest, within the area enclosed by the Budapest section of road 7 and Üllői Road: Provision of 20 base vehicles for 1,380,000 vehicle-kilometers (vkm) annually with a 20% option; additionally 6 optional vehicles for 414,000 vkm annually with a 20% option. The total performance for base and optional vehicles is 1,794,000 vkm annually plus 20% optional performance, which can be increased with performance options to 2,152,800 vkm/year. The client commits to an average uptake of 69,000 vkm/vehicle per year. Commissioning is planned for 5 vehicles by 01.08.2027 and for 15 vehicles by 31.08.2027. The call-off of the 20% vkm performance option and the 6 optional vehicles is at the client's discretion. Additional tasks include the sale of tickets and passes on board for commission and the control of travel entitlements when using front-door technology. Vehicles must have a valid EU-issued type certificate accepted in Hungary, comply with the technical parameters of the tender, and all new vehicles must be of the same type and drive. The service provider must ensure the infrastructure for operation and energy supply, operate, maintain, and repair the buses at its own expense. In case of delayed provision of new vehicles, the service provider is obliged to commence operation with temporary vehicles (up to 5 from 01.08.2027, up to an additional 15 from 31.08.2027, total maximum 20) that meet the technical requirements, until the new buses are commissioned, but no later than the first day of the 21st month after contract signing. Equivalent services are accepted.
