Roof Waterproofing Works according to DIN 18 338 for BMUKN Extension Building

Roof waterproofing works according to DIN 18336 for an extension building of the BMUKN in Berlin-Mitte, consisting of two 7-story building sections A and B, connected by a multi-story bridge. The works include approximately 6,500 m² of roof structures for the retention roof above the 6th floor with elevator and stairwell heads, approximately 41 m² of roof structures for Bridge North above the 2nd floor, approximately 850 m² of roof structures for the retention roofs above the ground floor, approximately 360 m² of roof structures for the meeting room roof above the ground floor, approximately 63 m² of roof structures for Canopy North above the ground floor, approximately 140 m² of roof structures for the inner courtyard above the basement, and approximately 135 m² of roof structures for the forecourt above the basement/underground garage. These typically consist of vapor barrier, thermal insulation (mineral wool, foam glass, EPS, XPS), and two-layer waterproofing membranes (bitumen-based, supplemented by plastic waterproofing membranes and liquid plastic systems for connections). All roof drainage elements with external drainage via attics for free-flow drainage, emergency drainage, and other services such as roof upstands and flashings are included. Furthermore, 10 smoke extraction openings (RAÖ skylights) above stairwells (clear internal dimension 1.20/1.50 m), 5 smoke extraction flaps as system dark flaps above the ground floor (clear internal dimension 1.25/1.25 m), and 2 PR skylights, single-part fixed glazing in burglary resistance class RC3 above the ground floor (clear internal dimension 1.40/1.40 m) are included. A fall protection system of approximately 170 m of stainless steel anchorage constructions with rope guide according to DIN795C, approximately 28 single anchor points, and approximately 23 traversable intermediate holders is also part of the scope. Execution begins no later than 12 working days after receipt of the order letter and must be completed in calendar week 21, 2028, no later than the last working day of that week. The start of assembly on site is set for calendar week 26, 2027, with an execution period of 18 months. A BNB certification in Gold for the building and in Silver for the outdoor facilities is aimed for; the contractor must contribute to the certification by observing requirements for low waste, low noise, low dust, and the Federal Soil Protection and Contaminated Sites Ordinance. Material requirements according to Annex 01 "Materialanforderungen" at quality level 5 must be met, and all materials must be declared regarding their ingredients/properties (Annex 02 "Deklarationstabellen", technical data sheets, safety data sheets according to 1907/2006/EG). further items as per the tender documents.
