Landscaping work for the creation of structured extensive grassland as advance compensatory measures for the target species sand lizard, buzzard and redstart in the context of the Danube expansion Straubing - Vilshofen (section 2). The measure includes earthworks for terrain modeling, the creation of habitat structures with natural stones, gravel, sand and deadwood, as well as topsoil processing, sowing and planting. Key quantities include approx. 1,750 m² sod transplanting, approx. 3,685 t gravel and approx. 16,000 m² extensive grassland. The landscaping trade predominates.

Civil engineering works for drinking water pipeline crossings as part of flood protection

The tender comprises civil engineering works for the construction of two crossing structures for a drinking water pipeline (WBW pipeline) in the course of the Straubing – Vilshofen Danube expansion (Thundorf/Aicha polder and Gundelau/Auterwörth polder). The construction measure includes earthworks, shoring, diaphragm wall, concrete and reinforced concrete works, as well as pipeline and cable laying works. Key quantities include approx. 4,200 m² vertical diaphragm wall, approx. 680 m² sheet piling as inner dike sealing, approx. 6,200 m³ excavation for the construction pit, and the laying of approx. 159 m of DN 600 steel pipeline in a DN 1000 steel protection pipe. The main focus is on specialist civil engineering (diaphragm wall and sheet piling works) and pipeline construction.
