Heat Pumps for Ruhr University Bochum

Modernization of the heating supply of property 38C of Ruhr University Bochum by erecting a regenerative heat pump system with a power-to-heat concept. The scope of work includes the delivery, installation, and commissioning of two air/water high-temperature heat pumps (approx. 45 kW each, refrigerant R290), an electric flange heater (80 kW), buffer storage tanks, pipelines, fittings, as well as complete building and plant automation (MSR technology). The automation stations are based on the Siemens Desigo CC system (Siemens PXC7.E400S) and the network components on Cisco Business 350 switches. The contract also includes the dismantling of existing systems, the creation of installation and revision planning, as well as maintenance services for the duration of the 5-year warranty period.
