Compute, Storage, and Backup Solution for the Municipality of Amersfoort

Delivery of an On-Premise Compute, Storage, and Backup Solution (CSB2): includes an on-premise storage and compute infrastructure, with all delivered hardware becoming the property of the Municipality of Amersfoort. An on-premise backup solution with a minimum capacity of 523 TB and a backup solution for the M365 environment are also included. Data from the current M365 backup solution must be retained and accessible until February 1, 2030. The contract also covers the design, setup, and implementation of the aforementioned solutions, as well as the complete transition from the existing environment. Furthermore, the setup and execution of management and maintenance for the new storage, compute, and on-premise backup solution, as well as for the M365 backup solution, are part of the scope. The solution must provide capacity for 300 virtual machines, each with a minimum of 8 TB memory (excluding SQL and Oracle clusters), offer a logical storage capacity of at least 100 TB, handle a peak load of at least 130,000 Read IOPS or 85,000 mixed IOPS, and not exceed a latency of 5 ms round trip.
