Rainwater pipes for hall expansion at Döhren tram workshop

Preliminary construction measures as part of the hall expansion of the Döhren light rail workshop for ÜSTRA AG. The works include the complete conversion of the existing roof drainage from a free-surface drainage system to a vacuum/pressure drainage system, as well as the dismantling of parts of the south facade (exposed aggregate concrete outer shell, thermal insulation, industrial glazing) and the subsequent bricking up of the openings. Key quantities include approx. 100 m of rainwater composite pipe DN 100, 25 m DN 70, as well as various fittings, seals and insulation work. The main trade is in the area of sanitary technology/drainage work (roof drainage), supplemented by dismantling, bricklaying and electrical work.

Underground pipe work for Döhren tram workshop hall expansion

Preliminary measures for the diversion of rainwater and wastewater pipes in the course of site clearance for the hall expansion of the Döhren light rail workshop in Hanover. The work includes the demolition of existing sewers, earthworks, shoring, and the new laying of wastewater pipes (including DN 100 and DN 400 made of PVC-U/concrete) during ongoing operation of the light rail depot. Key quantities include approx. 120 m of wastewater pipe DN 100, approx. 90 m of wastewater pipe DN 400, and approx. 650 m³ of excavated and transported soil. The dominant trade is sewer construction and civil engineering work, taking into account dewatering measures.
