Paper sorting, transfer of household packaging, and disposal of sorting residues: The paper flow includes newspapers, magazines (PJM), marginally cardboard boxes and brown cartons not considered sorting rejects, and actual sorting rejects. From September 1st, the collection method will change to a paper-only flow and a packaging flow including cardboard boxes. The service provider must receive the paper flow from voluntary drop-off points (PAV) at a CITEO-approved site, sort this paper flow for recycling at a publicly approved sorting center referenced by CITEO, separating brown cartons and cardboard boxes from true rejects like plastic films or other household packaging. Furthermore, the scope includes loading sorted paper bales into the buyer's vehicles, transporting and treating sorting rejects at an approved treatment center (to be specified by the contractor), conducting 10 to 15 qualitative analyses of the incoming paper flow over 4 years according to AFNOR X300 N 133, and submitting a complete quarterly statement to SMIRITOM on the quantities and qualities of paper shipped or awaiting shipment for the CITEO quarterly declaration.
