Digital Exhibition Design, Software Development and Production for the National Museum of Finland
Digital exhibition design, software development, and production for the reopening exhibition of the National Museum of Finland: Development and technical delivery of an interactive AI system in the form of media software. Includes exhibition media, AV, and interactive elements such as a Lobby Screen, 'Intro to the Universe' projection, 'Chatty Objects', 9 interactive conversational AI stations (Birds, Scarab, Meteorite, Shiva, Canoe, Turtle Seats, Raven Mask, Chilkat Blanket, Bad Luck Bird, Scarab), a Projection (Hybrid element), an Agnicayana film projection solution, and exhibition-wide soundscapes (Anvil & hammer, Chatty Objects Birds, Audio, Egg, Chatty Object Meteorite, Chatty Object Canoe, Chatty Object Raven Mask, World tree, Conch, Universe, Overhead Screen, Chatty Universe). Not included are film content for the Agnicayana film projection and the recording of a poem for the Egg Soundscape. Further includes software development and testing, software installation and configuration, technical and user documentation, support and on-call services during the exhibition run, training for client staff, and project management. A documentation set comprising technical documentation (architecture, APIs, content formats, deployment instructions), operational and maintenance instructions (incl. restart procedures, troubleshooting), and data protection-related documents as per Annex 3. Installation of all required system software components on site in coordination with the AV integrator and the procurement unit's team, integration of 'The Universe' content into existing overhead LED screen and new hardware, and full system testing. Training for museum staff on system operation, daily use, and safety, provision of training materials. Provision of a final handover package with approved media assets, backup copies of the system and configurations, a complete inventory of delivered software, and an end-of-project report. Production start approximately September 2026, delivery no later than January 2027. Estimated value: 400,000 - 550,000 EUR (VAT 0%).
