Direct Procurement of Audiobooks

Direct procurement of audiobooks: Commercial audiobooks produced by Finnish book publishers, with recordings used as the basis for accessible and structured audiobooks provided by the National Archives. The procurement ensures that visually impaired and other print-disabled individuals receive the same audiobooks in an accessible format as the general population. The high quality of the resulting audiobooks is of particular importance for the National Archives' visually impaired and other print-disabled clients. The DAISY 2.02 format used for the National Archives' audiobooks also requires special expertise. Framework agreements will be concluded with seven different suppliers.
