Pressure pipeline works for wastewater pressure pipeline LEA Am Schröcker Tor
Construction of a wastewater pressure pipeline da 100x10 with approx. 940 m length from the LEA site 'Am Schröcker Tor' to KIT Campus Nord, Weingartner Straße near building 330: The wastewater pressure pipeline will be routed along forest paths and logging tracks in the forest and must be operational by January 31, 2027. The measures include creating the pipe trench, installing the PE-HD wastewater pressure pipeline with branches and bends, laying a parallel fiber optic data cable (LWL) in the trench, constructing flushing shafts, a pressure relief shaft, and cable shafts along the pipeline route. Furthermore, it includes connecting the pressure pipeline to an existing pumping station in the LEA, connecting the newly constructed pressure relief shaft to the existing sewer network at KIT, backfilling the trench with existing excavated material, restoring paths in asphalt and unbound construction, and filling the old pressure pipeline da 90 with grout. Work on the KIT premises is possible from August 15, 2026, while work in the forest area is only possible during the vegetation-free period from October 2026.
