Electrification of the Szombathely-Kőszeg Railway Line

Electrification of the Szombathely-Kőszeg railway line: Construction of an AC single-phase railway overhead line system on railway line no. 18 over approximately 17 track kilometers for a single-track branch line, operating at 25 kV, 50 Hz, and approved for a speed of 80 km/h; reconstruction and modification of 15 railway level crossing barrier systems and railway interlocking systems due to electrification, including necessary track modifications; modification and expansion of GYSEV interlocking and traffic control systems (KÖFE, KÖFI), as well as railway area lighting and railway telecommunication facilities; establishment of the power supply for the overhead line system of line 18 by modifying the existing 25kV – 50 Hz railway overhead line system at Szombathely station; preparation of necessary plans (overhead line, lighting) for integration into the GYSEV FET system; installation of 1 pc 100 kVA pole transformer at Kőszeg station; complete execution of modifications in non-railway telecommunication and power networks at 16 locations due to electrification; ensuring compliance with interoperability technical specifications (ÁME); planning for construction and temporary facilities; preparation of as-built plans. The services include activities requiring building permits.
