Electrical, Safety, and Information Technology Systems for the Neues Museum

Renewal of lighting systems in the Neues Museum (NMU) on Museum Island: Conversion of the entire lighting system to LED in all public (exhibition) areas on levels 0 to 3 for general, object, and safety lighting. This includes the replacement of light inserts in housings by converting luminaires (especially special luminaires), replacement of light inserts in housings with adaptation/modification of the existing housing (especially special luminaires), replacement of complete luminaires (e.g., spotlights), replacement of light inserts in safety luminaires in housings with adaptation/modification of the existing housing (especially special luminaires) or entire luminaires, and the replacement of luminaires for showcase lighting (light generators for light control technology). The work will be carried out in sections within the listed building (UNESCO World Heritage Site) during ongoing museum operations, considering exhibit and object protection. Execution start is expected 11/2026 (12 working days after order letter), execution end 02/2028.
