Energy efficiency measures for the "Alexandru Borza" Agricultural Technology High School, Geoagiu: thermal rehabilitation of the building envelope and modernization of technical systems. Thermal rehabilitation includes the replacement of existing exterior and interior windows and doors with high-performance thermal insulating PVC joinery with triple glazing (R’min = 0.83 m²K/W) and shading elements, exterior insulation of opaque walls with 20 cm mineral wool and 10 cm extruded polystyrene below CTS level, insulation of the top floor slab with 30 cm high-density basalt mineral wool, and insulation of reveals and sills with 2 cm high-density basalt mineral wool boards. Further works include the construction of a 1 m wide protective sidewalk, plinth waterproofing, rehabilitation of green areas, dismantling and reconstruction of canopies and wooden structures, refurbishment of interior finishes, installation of plasterboard ceilings, removal of basement floors for underfloor heating, installation of anti-slip ceramic tiles in the basement, replacement of interior basement doors with PVC joinery, dismantling and reassembly of exterior metal railings, replacement of window sills (interior PVC, exterior electrostatically painted galvanized sheet), and installation of a vertical transport system for disabled persons and guidance systems for the visually impaired. Modernization of technical systems involves the installation/rehabilitation/modernization of centralized ventilation systems with a minimum of 75% heat recovery, installation of heat recovery units and ceiling fan coil units for cooling, rehabilitation/modernization/installation of the central heating and domestic hot water distribution system with replacement of heating bodies and individual consumption meters, basement heating via underfloor heating supplied by a reversible air-water heat pump, use of fan coil units on the ground and first floors for heating, domestic hot water production via solar panels, replacement of pipes with polypropylene pipes with aluminum inserts, a new electrical installation with exclusive use of LED lighting (interior and exterior with natural light sensors), design and implementation of a renewable energy production system using photovoltaic solar panels for electricity, rehabilitation/modernization of the lighting system by replacing circuits and inefficient luminaires with LED luminaires with motion sensors, and installation of decentralized energy systems with renewable sources; further items as per the tender documents.
