Removal of beaver dams, blockages, and hazardous trees for Zgorzelec Basin Management

Removal of beaver dams and natural blockages from riverbeds and watercourses within the Zgorzelec Basin Management area: Services are provided based on separate orders. For beaver dams and blockages, the scope of work per 1 m³ includes: mechanical or manual demolition, cleaning of the riverbed and banks from mineral deposits and branches for 50 linear meters above the dam/blockage, disposal of material, travel costs, site organization, monitoring and potential removal of newly built dams within 1 to 14 days after initial removal. Ecological supervision for beaver dam removal must be ensured according to decisions of the Regional Director for Environmental Protection. For fallen trees/hazardous trees, the scope of work per piece includes: mechanical or manual removal, cleaning of the riverbed and banks from wood material, disposal of wood material, travel costs, site organization, VAT if applicable. Diameters of fallen trees are measured at 1 m height from the ground.
