Disposal of medical and hazardous waste at three locations: Budapesti Uzsoki Utcai Kórház, Chronic and Rehabilitation Internal Medicine Departments, Lung Screening Station and Lung Care. The base quantity is 523,024 kg over 24 months, comprising: 120 kg organic waste containing hazardous substances (fluid pack), 82 kg solid pharmaceutical waste, 60 kg waste toner containing hazardous substances, 10 kg cytostatic-contaminated filters, 3,200 kg hazardous-contaminated packaging waste (glass and plastic packaging with medicine residues), 480,914 kg hazardous waste requiring special treatment for infection prevention, 13,690 kg cytostatic-contaminated medical waste, 6,636 kg organs and organ parts, 54 kg liquid pharmaceutical waste, 15,076 kg chemicals containing hazardous substances (halogen-free solvent mixture), 30 kg chemicals containing hazardous substances (small-package, expired lab chemicals), 40 kg developer solution, 40 kg fixer solution, 3,072 kg climate filter inserts. An increase in quantity by a maximum of 30% is optional. Provision of reusable collection containers in an exchange system: at least 770-liter covered wheeled containers (20 pcs/occasion for Uzsoki Utcai Kórház, 2 pcs/occasion for Chronic and Rehabilitation Internal Medicine, 1 pc/occasion for Lung Screening Station) for infectious medical waste, ADR-certified plastic canisters (20-25 liters, 30 pcs/month for Uzsoki Utcai Kórház) for halogen-free solvents, and ADR-certified plastic balloons (20-25 liters, 4 pcs/month for Chronic and Rehabilitation Internal Medicine) for fixer and developer solutions. Containers must comply with ADR II-III packaging groups; cleaning and replacement of faulty containers are included. Required qualifications include at least 1 ADR safety advisor, 1 environmental expert with a higher education degree, and 1 driver qualified for hazardous waste transport with at least one year of experience. Additionally, at least 1 ADR-compliant vehicle (BK2 or VC3) for hazardous waste transport must be provided.
