Obtaining a Permit to Fly for Experimental Flight Test Project
Support for obtaining a Permit to Fly (PtF): approval-related, engineering, and project-accompanying support for an experimental flight test project with a modified Diamond DA62 aircraft. The aircraft will be equipped with a switchable hydrogen propulsion system for an AE330 "Dual Fuel" engine. The service includes the development and support of the approval process until the PtF is issued by the competent aviation authority. Location of service: Technische Universität Dresden, Professur für Luftfahrzeugtechnik, Marschnerstraße 32, 01307 Dresden. Execution period until 30.06.2027. A valid Design Organisation Approval (DOA) according to EASA Part 21, Subpart J (Regulation (EU) No. 748/2012) is required, covering the "Engines" sector and including privileges for classifying and approving minor changes, as well as for developing and demonstrating compliance for major changes to aircraft engines.
