Renewal of autoclaves for the Finnish Food Authority

Renewal of autoclaves for the Finnish Food Authority (Ruokavirasto): 7 autoclaves will be renewed in a first phase to ensure the maintenance reliability and functionality of the laboratory facilities. There are two main types: destruction autoclaves for hazardous biological waste in BSL-3 safety laboratories, and standard laboratory autoclaves for sterilizing equipment and preparing culture media. The renewal will take place at the existing locations, within the capacities permitted by the building services connections. Planning and implementation must be carried out in close cooperation with the clients to minimize operational downtime in BSL-3 laboratories. Senaatti-kiinteistöt will conclude the procurement contract, and Ruokavirasto will conclude the post-warranty maintenance contract. The estimated value is approximately 2,450,000 €. A site visit in Helsinki, Mustialankatu 3, 00790 Helsinki, is available on 1.7.2026 (9-11 AM or 12:30-2:30 PM, registration by 29.6.2026, 2:00 PM) or on 10.8.2026 (9-11 AM or 1-3 PM, registration by 6.8.2026, 2:00 PM). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed on site.
