Planning, delivery, erection, commissioning, and acceptance of a turnkey Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) with a preferred power of 20 MW and a minimum capacity of 40 MWh as a 2-hour storage system for the HKW Erfurt Ost. The system is intended for commercial use from July 1, 2028, and comprises two identical battery units of 10 MW and 20 MWh each, symmetrically distributed across two 10kV feeds. The outdoor installation includes battery containers, inverter skids, auxiliary transformers, and control and regulation systems. The BESS must provide balancing power (PRL, aFRR mFRR, optional instantaneous reserve), market-based management (arbitrage), and reactive power control according to VDE-AR-4110. The scope of services also includes fire protection, sound insulation measures, control system integration, EZA controller, system-internal wiring, acceptance measurements, support for VDE 4110 and VDE 4120 certification, training of operating personnel, and a maintenance and service contract.
