Expanded Timber Construction for New Fire Station Ockstadt
New construction of a fire station in Ockstadt: The building consists of two parallel, slightly offset wings, each approximately 35.00 m long and with heights of approximately 7.0 m and 8.0 m respectively. The lower wing (approx. 12.50 m wide) serves as a vehicle hall with utility room, storage, and workshop. The higher, two-story wing (approx. 14.00 m wide) contains changing rooms, training and common rooms, offices, and sanitary facilities. The hall and the adjacent ground floor of the two-story wing will have a facade of galvanized steel sheet panels. The upper floor features a vertically structured wooden facade. Elevator systems with 2 stops will be positioned in a concrete shaft. The provisions of the VOB, valid at the time of contract conclusion, apply.
