Expansion of Gesamtschule Weierheide

General contractor services for the expansion of Gesamtschule Weierheide: complete planning services from HOAI service phase 5, missing planning services from earlier phases, and full execution for a turnkey new build on the property Fichtestr. 15 in Oberhausen-Buschhausen. The project includes the conversion of a listed church for school purposes (cafeteria and auditorium) and the new construction of three additional buildings for classrooms and administration. Modular or system construction is permitted. The four buildings comprise: Building A (ground floor to 2nd floor) 1,350 m² net floor area (NGF) and 9,300 m³ gross volume (BRI); Building B (ground floor to 1st floor) 1,050 m² NGF and 5,250 m³ BRI; Building C (partially basement, ground floor to 1st floor) 1,200 m² NGF and 6,100 m³ BRI; Building D (ground floor to 1st floor) 1,300 m² NGF and 6,500 m³ BRI. Additionally, external facilities on the approx. 6,400 m² plot are to be constructed. The project is currently in HOAI service phase 4 (approval planning), with the building application submitted in May 2026. Adjacent existing buildings will be demolished by the end of 2026. The procedure is a negotiated procedure with prior call for competition according to EU VOB/A, with completion planned for February 2027. Handover for operation must occur by the school year 2029/2030.
