Extension and Renovation of Baesweiler Gymnasium

General contractor services for the extension and renovation of the Baesweiler Gymnasium at Otto-Hahn-Straße 16-18 in 52499 Baesweiler: The gymnasium is to be designed for five parallel classes in the future, providing space for up to approximately 1,200 students. The current school site consists of three building sections (Wing 1, Wing 2, Wing 3/4) and a triple sports hall. Services include the planning and execution of an additional floor on the sports hall, covering an area of approximately 1,200 m², for relocating the administration wing and creating IT rooms, the renovation of Wing 1 to create eight new classrooms, and the extension of Wing 3/4 to create four additional classrooms and four specialized rooms for music and geography. Fixed furnishing is also included. Optional services within the budget include the planning and execution of a new main entrance at the sports hall and the construction of bicycle parking spaces. The measures are to be implemented during ongoing operations, with the option of using modular or system construction. The turnkey construction must be completed by the summer holidays of 2030 at the latest. A fixed budget of 12 million EUR gross is available. The procurement process is expected to be completed by July 2027.
