Evaluation of projects for youth multipliers in post-coup Myanmar
Evaluation of three projects to empower (youth) multipliers in post-coup Myanmar: Assessment of impact, opportunities, and challenges within the Civil Peace Service programme for Myanmar. The results are intended to inform partner organisations and KURVE Wustrow for potential adjustments of project activities in the next three-year project phase, to intensify the focus on supporting multipliers, and to support accountability towards the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The methodology includes preparation/desk study (review of internal programme applications, project agreements, reports), interviews and focus group discussions (mostly or completely online), potentially additional information collection via surveys. Questionnaires are to be adjusted for the three partner organisations. Selection of project-relevant actors: alumni, project staff of partner organisations, project staff of KURVE Wustrow (Thailand, Myanmar). International travel is not budgeted. Domestic travel expenses in Thailand for project-related activities may be covered upon prior approval and in accordance with the German Federal Travel Expenses Act (BRKG). The feasibility of in-person interviews depends on the availability and accessibility of interviewees. Presentations of preliminary findings will occur after the main interviews and before editing the final report. Reporting includes written documentation of outcomes and insights, including general and specific recommendations for each of the three partner organisations, further items as per the tender documents.
