External Support for Operational Waste Management

Support for operational waste management: ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal waste management; short-term availability during business hours (Mon-Fri, 8 AM-5 PM), processing time of maximum 10 working days for tasks without explicit deadlines; engineering and support services in defined work orders, grouped into preparation and familiarization, time-bound individual tasks, recurring tasks (e.g., maintenance of legal register, waste reporting, waste-specific inquiries), and case-specific consulting services (inventory, documentation creation and revision); services to be provided by a team of at least 2 employees with qualified representation in case of absence; minimum requirements for Waste Management Officer/Project Manager: university degree (Bachelor or Master) in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Process Engineering, Supply Engineering, Chemistry, or Biology or comparable qualification ensuring expertise according to AbfBeauftrV, reliability (§ 8) and expertise (§ 9) according to AbfBeauftrV, at least 5 years of professional experience as a waste management officer, at least 3 years of professional experience in operational waste management, at least 3 years of professional experience in project management, deep knowledge of national waste law, language level C2 (GER); minimum requirements for Backoffice (Technical Office Staff/Clerical Work): completed vocational training in a relevant field (e.g., environmental technology, waste management specialist, industrial clerk with focus on environment/waste), proficient in MS Office applications, professional experience in waste management; further items as per the tender documents.
