Computer-aided system for automated soil penetration resistance measurements: mechanical penetration of a penetrometer for high-resolution soil resistance detection and generation of reproducible measurement data. Measurement and control technology includes a system with constant, predefined pressure via hydraulic control, integrated penetration resistance monitoring, acquisition of sensor data (pressure, soil moisture, optional: electrical conductivity, optical reflection) in 1 cm penetration depth steps up to a maximum of 80 cm, and penetration speed. Data acquisition via an interface and internal data storage (min. 5-10 GB) for at least 500 measurement profiles including georeferencing. Power supply by a system-integrated E-Power-Pack for autonomous operation. Mounting on a carrier vehicle (tractor three-point hitch category 1 or 2) or pick-up. Technical requirements: pressure at least 135 bar, flow rate 20.
