Research Project: Construction Site Access Roads in Longitudinal Traffic on Federal Motorways

Research project for the systematic investigation of construction site access roads within long-term work zones on federal motorways: Development of scientifically sound recommendations for their planning, design, and operation, and the creation of suitable evaluation criteria for assessing traffic safety, traffic flow, and practicality. The project includes the formulation of action recommendations for the planning, tendering, approval, and operation of construction site access roads in longitudinal traffic, including specifications for location, development length, signage, marking, and traffic engineering measures, as well as proposals for updating existing regulations such as RSA, VwV StVO, and ZTV SA.
