Clearing of service paths along the Main-Danube Canal

Clearing of trees and shrubs: section-by-section along the service paths, locks, and dams of the Main-Danube Canal in the Riedenburg district (MDK-km 116.200 - 171.00), total length per river bank approx. 55 km. Works are to be carried out for the autumn-winter periods 2026/2027, 2027/2028, and 2028/2029, over a duration of 3 years. The use of an articulated arm of at least 8.5 m and a clearance profile cutting device (4 to 5 saw blades) is required; branch shears are not permitted. Manual work with brush cutters or electric hedge trimmers may be necessary for certain sections or areas. Cuttings must be collected, properly disposed of, or recycled; shredding and leaving them on the adjacent areas is not allowed.
