Pedestrian Underpass for Strada Unirii – Bulevardul Constantin Brâncuși in Târgu Jiu

Construction of an underground pedestrian underpass at the intersection of Strada Unirii and Bulevardul Constantin Brâncuși. The underpass features four accesses (A, B, C, D), each equipped with a fixed staircase and an exterior lift. Access A is located adjacent to Parcul Central Constantin Brâncuși and the sidewalk of Bulevardul Constantin Brâncuși. The placement of accesses A, B, and C necessitates the redesign of green spaces near tall collective housing and pedestrian circulation areas. The central part of the underpass includes a skylight with security glass and aluminum profiles, featuring movable panes mounted on a metal structure for natural light, which can be used for temporary cultural and artistic events.
