Ammonia Gas Control System

Supply of an ammonia gas control system for dual-fuel engines with port fuel injection: Integration as an enclosed module in an engine test bench for safe and reproducible fuel gas supply to a medium-speed large engine. The control system regulates and stabilizes gas pressure, measures process variables such as pressure and flow rate, provides the required gas volume, and performs safety functions like shutting off the gas supply, to enable power, fuel consumption, and emissions measurements under defined conditions and to safely shut down the engine in case of malfunctions. This supports the research and development of dual-fuel combustion concepts in ammonia operation with pilot ignition within the 4mmonia project.
