Required competencies include architecture (specifically tropical building design, acoustics, landscape design), construction economics, maintenance/global cost, demolition (with/without asbestos, including waste treatment, reuse, recycling according to PEMD), engineering services (VRD, structural, fluids, low voltage, and fire safety systems coordination), environmental quality of the building (according to energy performance recommendations for Reunion, thermal aspects), and scheduling, steering, and coordination of works.
